Here’s a chillout track I did as part of a University project. The original track is from Brian Eno and David Byrne's album 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts'. The track is a remix and is complied entirely from samples found within the original track. I set the tempo to 110bpm, laid down some drums and percussion and eventually, found a nice groove to splice the vocals to.

Zero 7 [Remix]
A few weeks ago I got a text from a friend of mine informing me that Zero 7 were hosting a remix competition. Being a fan of their music I was keen to give it a go and see what I could bring to the table in terms of deep sounds and chillout flavours. I took vocal cuts from a couple of their tracks and laced these samples along with my own beats, textures and instrumentation. The result is a downtempo chillout track with a strong influences from the likes of Massive Attack and Air.

Mazzy Star - Into Dust [Remix]
I just finished a bootleg remix of 'Into Dust' by the alternative rock group Mazzy Star. I chopped and looped the guitar riff and took tiny snippets of the vocals to use as a hook. I then added my own instrumentation to the track featuring a rich sub bass, harmonious sounds, tight percussion, and a four on the floor beat to give it some movement.
